In South Carolina’s Republican Presidential Primary, the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds Fred Thompson leading Rudy Giuliani 24% to 20%. That’s little changed from a month ago when Thompson held a 23% to 21% advantage.

Rasmussen Reports has just released its latest Republican primary poll from Florida. Giuliani is still on top at 29% but Senator Thompson is closing fast in second place at 23%. Contrast this from just one month ago, the same survey had Giuliani with a 13 point lead. Remember, Florida is Giuliani’s firewall state.

Southern Political Report - In a new statewide survey, the first to not include Gingrich, of likely primary voters in Florida finds that Fred Thompson now leads Giuliani by 6 points in Florida!
